3/21/2009 5:05 PM:  Exchange 2007 and WM 6.1...

GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile My new PC arrived the other weekend and, with a few hitches finding out that you cannot run 64 bit virtual operating systems as guests of Vista, I am now up and running on Exchange 2007. I also took the opportunity to upgrade my Office suite to 2007 but that is (still) causing me problems with the offline address book (which I have disabled as I cannot find a fix right now...I know it is the Autodiscover but I've tried everything!)...GibbsUSA.net smilie: angry

Anyway, the features of Exchange within Windows Mobile 6.1 (search server and HTML email) made it well worth the effort! GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy

I have to admit though, trying to "muddle" through a new server OS (2008), a new Exchange server (2007) and dealing with family yard sales, kids demands and the better half being away for a "ladies weekend" has taken it's toll...I am looking forward to getting over 5 hours sleep tonight!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: lol

3/8/2009 12:27 AM:  One week on...

GibbsUSA.net smilie: confused It has taken me a while to get back to the way that Windows Mobile deals with things...I became lazy with the Blackberry, I guess... GibbsUSA.net smilie: crazy

I have fallen in love with the GPS and radio available on the Xperia- not only can I track my way to work, I can rock-and-roll on the way! Beats the iPod if I can have a single device...GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy

Now, battery life- it SUCKS!!! What more can I say- I don't know how RIM do it with their devices but having a 2 day, constantly connected WiFi device with a remaining 80% battery life is just not possible with the Xperia...I've tried...30% remaining is more likely!

Still, amazingly happy with the device though!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: grin
