1/24/2009 10:43 PM:  Windows Live for Blackberry sucks...invest in Beejive!!!

I LOVE Windows Messenger Live- that is one of the key ways I keep in touch with friends and family...but on the Blackberry, it is too unreliable GibbsUSA.net smilie: sad. I had a solution of adding a new account but the moment I added any "buddies", the Blackberry would not log in...the usual "Server busy" or "unable to connect"...

So I went in search of an alternative...(Google of course)...GibbsUSA.net smilie: wink

Out of the ethernet of search results comes Beejive...it came with a 30 day trial period but after only 5 hours and multiple IM's to fiends and family, I decided to purchase...



Now I am not normally a person that purchases software that simply "simplifies" already free software but this is in a league of it's own- I especially love the "bubble" messaging and the customization available...and I have yet to have a connection error!!!

I did jump for the more expensive "lifetime" upgrades and "change of device options" for $29.95 but I think I'm going to get my investment back after only a few weeks of being able to connect!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy

GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile I came across this article on CNET detailing a nice application for the Blackberry called "Slacker Radio"...



I tried this out yesterday (it is a free OTA download)...very nice- it even has the ability to cache stations to the memory card...
