3/24/2006 11:51 PM:  So I go and buy everything...

GibbsUSA.net smilie: wink If any of you ever speak to my friend Dave, he will tell you that I am a sucker...I buy all the latest gadgets (and all the accessories that go with them) and then, when something better comes along, I start from scratch...and he gets the ones I don't need anymore...including the accessories...FOR FREE GibbsUSA.net smilie: grim

Sure enough, the MDA is no different...I have just ordered a case from Nutshell, another 1Gb SD card (for my Pocket PC converted DVD movies) and a stylus pen (3-in-1)...this is costing me too much...LOL GibbsUSA.net smilie: tongue

3/17/2006 10:45 PM:  What the MDA was missing...

GibbsUSA.net smilie: spin I found a great freeware application on the XDA-Developers forum for mapping the "new" Windows Mobile soft keys to do ADDITIONAL things to the ones set in the OS...it's called SmartsKeys and I have to thank the author...Water...

Once again, someone else develops what Microsoft should include in their own OS!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: irked

3/4/2006 4:29 PM:  T-Mobile MDA - Love it…

So I have been with the T-Mobile MDA for a week now. GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile

There have been a couple of times that I have needed to hit the "reset" buton on the phone due to memory usage, but I have been on urgent page with my work a lot recently and I have not missed a single call (even with the bluetooth headset)...GibbsUSA.net smilie: shocked

I'm at a loss as to what to put down as drawbacks to this phone- other than Microsoft...GibbsUSA.net smilie: wink

3/3/2006 12:01 AM:  ActiveSync missing features…

GibbsUSA.net smilie: angry OK, so Microsoft decided to remove the WiFi sync option from ActiveSync 4...with the intent that this would be used by corporate customers...but why remove the ability to sync Access databases to cdb's? GibbsUSA.net smilie: confused

Granted that the WM 2005 OS is different and the data store for the applications has changed, but there are MANY applications that rely on the Access sync capabilities...GibbsUSA.net smilie: confused

Let's hope that they sort these two issues out quickly!!! Who am I kidding…GibbsUSA.net smilie: tongue
