9/23/2004 7:58 AM:  Case for the HP iPAQ 6315

The case that comes with the HP 6315 is nice- but too big for me...GibbsUSA.net smilie: sad
For all my PDA's, I have used a company in New Zealand called Nutshell- their customer service is amazing GibbsUSA.net smilie: grin...especially when we were working on a new case that would fit the 6315!
If you're looking for something a little different, I can highly recommend checking them out! GibbsUSA.net smilie: cool

9/6/2004 10:05 AM:  HP iPAQ 6315

GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile Last Tuesday, I received my new HP iPAQ 6315 from T-Mobile. Wow, I am impressed with this new device. The camera quality is lacking if you are looking at this device for pictures but all of the other features are great.
I set up my wireless network (and bluetooth) with little trouble- and I love been able to connect to the internet at the HS Cable speeds rather than GPRS in the back yard! GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy
The device comes with a nice HP interface to the networking settings allowing you to choose quickly which services are enabled at any given time. The profiles option is cool too- giving you the ability to automatically switch on/ off GPRS, GSM, Bluetooth and WiFi depending on which profile you choose...for example, bluetooth headset in the car, WiFi at home etc...neat GibbsUSA.net smilie: grin!
If you're interested in more information, there is a good review of the device here.

9/1/2004 2:57 PM:  I love them all...

Well, as you can see from the default page on this development site, I love my Pocket PC phones. GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile
I have owned an XDA (or MDA or T-Mobile Pocket PC, whatever you want to call it) from the day it was launched here in the USA. I loved it. I still do..and it even survived a motorcycle accident with only minor screen damage...but the time to upgrade was upon me! The release in the USA of the HP iPAQ 6315 from T-Mobile will surely prove that combination units are here to stay.
That said, I know a few people who cannot wait until the release of the Motorola MPx and the beautiful XDA III- I am one of them... GibbsUSA.net smilie: cool
Who knows where the world of tomorrow will take us? GibbsUSA.net smilie: spin
