10/31/2004 3:59 PM:  Pocket Breeze and Contact Breeze- you rock!

GibbsUSA.net smilie: biggrin I take my hat off to the guys at SBSH Mobile Software for building a product that has become essential to my Pocket PC life!
Pocket Breeze and Contact Breeze have made my Today screen the one stop shop for my schedule and task information...with Contact Breeze putting the contacts easily available for all to see!!!
The nice thing about this product is that the upgrades are free throughout the version (e.g. all 4.x upgrades)- and they put a LOT of functionality in over time! GibbsUSA.net smilie: crying I recently had to report a bug on the product with the latest release and within one week, this was resolved! GibbsUSA.net smilie: biggrinGibbsUSA.net smilie: biggrin
Thanks guys! GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy

10/29/2004 3:47 PM:  Have a phone edition- quick dial from phone

GibbsUSA.net smilie: confused Why did Microsoft leave the blank blue button in the Phone application? That is something I always wondered as if the app. was not complete. GibbsUSA.net smilie: grim
Well, while doing my usual surf, I came upon a nifty little add-on that turns this void area into a quick dial Contacts button (screen shot below)..GibbsUSA.net smilie: spin

The add-on allows you to click the button and provide an easy means of getting (and dialing) your contacts (by category)...GibbsUSA.net smilie: biggrin
You can read more information and download it from here! GibbsUSA.net smilie: cool

10/15/2004 4:55 PM:  i-mate PDA2K GSM/GPRS Pocket PC (aka XDA III)

GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile Expansys USA have the new iMate III in stock (also known as the XDA III).
The nice GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy feature of this Pocket PC phone is the retracting, self contained keyboard!!!

Buyers beware: Lots of adverts etc. on ebay selling these as English MDA III's- but they're not telling the entire truth. GibbsUSA.net smilie: shocked They are not telling you that these are hacked devices and that the ROM's being put on them to convert them to English are also causing a mis-match on the keyboards, nor are they telling you that the units will no longer have a warranty because they are hacked. GibbsUSA.net smilie: mad
