 After 18 months of being without little furry critters in the house, we now have two gorgeous little kittens- Billy (grey male) and Juno (tortoise female).
We were expecting a troubled night with lots of meowing but it turned out to be a great first night- both cats are extremely friendly (Juno doesn't quite like Billy yet though)...
Both Hannah and Leia are enamoured with them- Billy is Hannah's cat and Juno is Leia's...although to be honest we are really pleased with the choices!!! We hope we have many years with our new little additions!!!

 So in my recent vain attempts to stop smoking, a friend introduced me last week to a concept I had never thought of- an electric cigarette that can give a dose of nicotine and produces a harmless water/ glucose vapor smoke...he gave it the full ten thumbs up! I did have to admit, while a little more bulky than a normal cigarette, it looked authentic (even with a glowing red tip)...
In my usual "got to have one" I went out and purchased from the website that night (GreenSmoke.com). It finally arrived last night and I immediately charged the battery- ready for trials the next day...
Well, I tried it out today and, although the nicotine cartridges that come with the starter pack are a little strong for me (I knew they would be so I got the "ultra light" cartridges too), I have already decided to use this as a means to stop my smoking (yet still "enjoy" the "smoking sensation")... 
Hopefully today, I will have had my last real cigarette...

 We have just got back to Arizona after 3 weeks in England. I have never had so much time off work before!!!
What a few weeks it was- rushing from family, friends, tourist attractions- I need a holiday to recuperate! 
We did have a great time- it is the first time that we have been back home since we moved to the States and it was made even better by meeting my family again after too many years (thanks Nick for making us so welcome in your home)! 
To Doreen, Sue, Sharon, Nick & Teresa, Dave & Karen, a big "thank you" for having our family- you all made this a holiday we will not forget!
To be honest though, it is great to be back home- I missed the place towards the end...the heat, sunburn, air conditioning bills...this is our true home now. Both Michaela and I were worried about the other person not wanting to leave England again and wanting to move back to our true country of origin but now we are more dedicated to what we have built and achieved than ever! A great way to spend our 10th wedding anniversary!
