3/27/2009 8:19 PM:  Booked our flights "home"...

Last weekend, I finally got round to paying for our flights back to England- I'd been reviewing the prices for months but with the market fluctuations, I decided not to take the risk and simply booked them! GibbsUSA.net smilie: weeping

It will be the first time for us going back to England since we left almost 10 years ago- and it is (obviously) going to be the first time for our kids to visit. What will be a little wierd is having to go through the "visitor" channel in the UK as our kids only have American passports...GibbsUSA.net smilie: grin

Can't wait to go though- I have even managed to get approval for the 3 weeks off at work- makes all the hard work now worth while with a little goal in sight! GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy Seeing friends and family and showing Hannah and Leia the places we grew up, lived and worked will be fun for us all...counting down the days...GibbsUSA.net smilie: tongue

GibbsUSA.net smilie: grin So we got up early (5:30am) to do our planned yard sale. I hadn't even moved the vehicles from the drive and we had people hen-picking over the items we had for sale!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: confused

It was fun though- the first few people bought just about everything by 7am and we were all done by 11am with only a few things left (school donations). Interesting that in these economically trying times, this was our best yard sale to date (and we've done a few)...GibbsUSA.net smilie: oh

I am, however, absolutely shattered- I have been building a new server for our home network while at the same time trying to get our entire CD collection (over 600 CD's) onto the network...couple that with 3 days of PM training and I need to go to work for a break!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile
