Today for us will be a time of reflection- being grateful for all we have in these troubled times. We'd like to wish everyone a very happy holiday and hope that the remnants of 2008 and the forthcoming 2009 bring you all happiness! Wow, that sounds gushy and I haven't had a beer yet! GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile I was XMas shopping the other weekend and for some reason walked into the Game Stop store in the mall...I saw they had the Wii in stock so I thought I would ask about the Wii Fit (it has been on our shopping list for a few months now but I refuse to pay eBay prices)...sure enough, they had 2 in stock!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: shocked

Straight away it was out with the cash and home for a trial...WOW- what a laugh! The kids fell in love with the soccer ball header, the tight-rope walking and the short distance run...all that in a computer game that is helping us to get/ keep fit!

I didn't like the results of my initial body assessment but nothing it told me wasn't something I didn't already know in the back of my mind... GibbsUSA.net smilie: sad

If you haven't already got one, make sure that the TOP of your XMas list this year is a Wii and the Wii Fit- you will NOT regret it!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: biggrin

GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile Thank God it is all over- I'm sure there will be many days of election analysis etc but for now, the campaigning is all done!

Congratulations to the president elect and commiserations to Senator McCain! The test will come Jan 20th 2009 when the real work begins...we'll see how long the new government blames the last for the mess it "inherits" (good for at least 4 years based on the UK government practice).
