GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile Once again, it is that time of year and from all of us here we wish everyone a Merry Christmas, safe holidays and a very happy New Year!

2007 has been a good year for us and we are still conversing with my family (in fact, we have just found out that my sister is going to have a baby- congratulations Rachel)...! GibbsUSA.net smilie: biggrin

GibbsUSA.net smilie: confused So who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? While my wife will not appreciate the analogy, GibbsUSA.net smilie: tongue I bought her a new mobile phone a week ago- one that allows email, web, etc...I have been begging her for quite some time to upgrade to a Windows Mobile device...

Well, when I came home from work today I was shocked! GibbsUSA.net smilie: oh

After using the phone for a few days, she put away her laptop for reading and replying to emails in favor of the new device- so it was already proving its worth. Tonight though, truly proved that I was right with the upgrade!

It is her night out with the ladies and she had looked up the directions to where she needed to be using her phone and then, right in front of me, uses the voice command to say "Open Live Search" to bring up the directions before she set off, checks where she needs to be etc. and the current traffic conditions on the route...I could have fallen over backwards right there in front of her... GibbsUSA.net smilie: grin It makes me happy to see people use technology for what it was designed for... GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile

Now I need to ask her if she would ever go back to her old phone- that will be the true test! GibbsUSA.net smilie: cool
