7/29/2006 8:54 PM: Copyright code...leave the notice IN !!!

I have to deal with AcmeInternet who blatently stole code that I wrote in 1996, amended the copyright notice and then charged their customers for something I made FREE!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: weeping.

While I am flattered that some 10 year old code still makes it on the internet, I believe strongly in the GNU and copyright freeware industry!

To that end, I have taken legal advice, under USC 1202 (Integrity of Copyright Management Information) as this company has made money on code that I wrote...This is my 5th copyright lawsuit against websites selling code/ software that I have written and published under the freeware licence (according to our terms and conditions at the base of this page) and I will let you know how I get on against them!

Support my cause and send an email of complaint to customerservice@acmeinternet.com!!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: coolguy...

Keep freeware free !!! GibbsUSA.net smilie: smile
